A closer look at the Metricon homes Regional Victoria celebrated most in 2017

Metricon

In 2017, two Metricon display homes took out the wins at the Master Builders Association of Victoria's (MBAV) South West awards night.

The Botanica 32 was awarded ‘Best Volume Builder Display Home’ in the $350,000-$500,000 category, while the Lawson 22 received ‘Best Volume Builder Display Home’ in the under $250,000 category.

Earlier that month our Regional Victoria team had also taken home the ‘Best Volume Builder Display Home’ in the $350,000-$500,000' category at the MBAV South East awards for the Botanica 36.

Phil Barrett, Regional Victoria General Manager, said the awards highlighted the versatility of the Metricon homes on offer.

So what is it that makes these homes so appealing? Here, Phil sheds some light on the features that made these two award-winners stand out from the rest.

Botanica 32 (Ascent façade)

Crafted for spacious family living and those who enjoy entertaining, the Botanica from Designer by Metricon features four double bedrooms including a magnificent master suite with ensuite and dual walk-in-robes, plus an open plan living zone with designer kitchen and outdoor room.

“The Botanica’s large open plan living area includes a kitchen with a butler’s pantry, family, rumpus and outdoor rooms which attracted the judge’s attention and ultimately sets it apart from other homes,” added Phil.

Lawson 22 (Elk façade)

The Lawson from HomeSolution by Metricon provides plenty of the space for the entire family, including four bedrooms, a separate study and a large double garage just to name a few features.

“The Lawson has a surprising amount of features, with a large open plan kitchen and family areas being the focus for the home. With the option to add a leisure room, this design is perfectly suited for the family,” said Phil.
