Frequently asked questions

Where can I find information about pricing?

If you’ve fallen in love with one of Metricon’s designs and want to learn more about pricing, please call us on 1300 786 773 or complete the enquiry form above. We’ll be able to give you a more accurate quote after working through your build requirements and where you want to build.

How long does it take to build a Metricon home?

Our build timeframes vary depending on the size and scope of the build. A general timeframe is approximately 4 months for a single story and 5-10 months for a double story.

What framing do you use to build your homes?

Metricon builds all our homes with timber frames. In select build regions and circumstances, our New South Wales and Queensland teams will look at steel frames. Please note, our slabs are always concrete, and we do not offer builds on stumps.

How much should we expect to spend on site costs?

Site costs vary depending on the site. Costs can include – but are not limited to – soil type, site cut, slab requirements, traffic management and the ‘fall’ across the site. To get an idea of approximate site costs, get in touch with us to organise a site assessment with our sales team.

Do you assist with financing?

We work alongside finance partners who can provide a complimentary, no-obligation financial assessment, to assist with purchasing your new Metricon home. Normal lending and credit criteria apply.

Do you handle the demolition of our existing home?

Metricon does not demolish your existing home. We are happy to recommend a reputable company so that you can arrange for the demolition of your old home.

Can I turn any of your homes into a split-level home?

Not all our floorplans are suitable for split-level living, however we do have a several homes that are perfect for sloping blocks.

Can I alter your floorplans to suit my needs?

As a volume home builder, we have a dedicated team who have designed a wide range of floorplans to offer something for everyone. While some variations may be considered, not every request can be met.
