Metricon has been named Australia’s number one home builder for the eighth consecutive year with the release of the HIA COLORBOND® Steel Housing Top 100 Report. The 2022/23 Report, which ranks Australia’s top 100 residential builders based on the number of home builds commenced each year, was released today in Melbourne. It saw Metricon top the list with a total of 4,693 starts across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia.

Australia’s leading home builder, Metricon Homes plans to assist hundreds of ex-Porter Davis customers to get into their homes. The plan – which is awaiting final approval from the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) involves ultimately finding a solution for up to five-hundred customers whose properties were left unfinished when Porter Davis went into liquidation at the end of March 2023.

The 2021/22 Report which ranks Australia’s top 100 residential builders based on the number of home builds commenced each year, was released today at the Construction Outlook Breakfast in Melbourne. It saw Metricon top the list with a total of 5,969 starts, across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
