Perfect country living with our Denver home design

Everyone who lives in the country knows how wonderful it can be — the slower pace, the sense of community, the great outdoors at your doorstep. Regional Australia is dotted with small towns ideal for bringing up children or even settling into the twilight years. For those willing to escape the city and try something new, country living offers a multitude of benefits.

If you do live in regional Australia, it's fantastic to have a home that suits your lifestyle. That's why our most popular country home, the Denver 45, was designed primarily with our regional customers in mind.

According to Metricon design director, Adrian Popple, the Denver 45, has been built for large corner or acreage allotments. "The Denver is a unique, expansive ranch-style home where you have the space to spread out and enjoy the sweeping floor plan," he says.

A grand home of four bedrooms, The Denver 45 has multiple living areas, and the main bedroom has its own private wing. You'll find the living areas at the heart of the home, with rumpus and sitting rooms adjoining a dramatic entry hall, as well as the open-plan family, dining and kitchen area.

On one side of this central area, you will find the main bedroom with its own study retreat, walk-in-robe and ensuite bathroom. Three more bedrooms and a leisure room are on the other. You can also extend the home design to include an outdoor area, providing an inviting space to entertain and enjoy your surroundings.

If you want to discover this home for yourself, you can view the stunning display at Lomandra Estate, Romsey, Victoria. Romsey is located 60km north of the Melbourne CBD and is close to Melbourne Airport. You can also check out the house online via our 3D Virtual Tours.

Of course, there are several other home designs purpose-built to enhance rural life, making up our Country Living Collection.
