A closer look at two of Metricon's award winning regional displays

Metricon homes are loved by regional families.

Two beautiful display homes in regional Victoria were recipients of prestigious awards at 2016's North East Master Builders' Association of Victoria (MBAV) Regional Building Awards. The award winning displays were the stunning Botanica 32 (Ascent façade) on display in Kialla Lakes Estate, Shepparton and the Delta 28BP (Plantation façade) at White Box Rise Estate, Wodonga.

The Botanica 32 was awarded 'Best Volume Builder Display Home $350,000-$500,000' while the Delta 28BP was awarded 'Best Volume Builder Display Home $250,000-$350,000' at the awards ceremony.

Regional Victoria General Manager, Phil Barrett, said of the award winning displays, "To receive this recognition for our workmanship, design, innovation and ongoing dedication to the highest standards on and off the worksite, is a thrill and a credit to the Regional North team."

Botanica 32 (Ascent façade)

The Botanica is one of our newer home designs and the display at Kialla Lakes Estate was the very first time that this home had been put on display in Victoria. The Botanica 32 as displayed in Kialla is a single storey four bedroom home that features the grand and appealing Ascent façade along with a family friendly floorplan.

Of the winning display, Mr Barrett said, "The Botanica's magnificent master bedroom with large ensuite bathroom and his and hers walk-in-robes, really wowed the judges. The large open plan living area that includes a contemporary kitchen design with butler's pantry, family, rumpus and outdoor rooms are also key features of this winning design."

Delta 28BP (Plantation façade)

The Delta 28BP is a single storey home that also features four bedrooms and is perfectly designed for a growing family. Mr Barrett said, "The winning Delta is one of Metricon's most popular designs nationally, it offers an innovative and flexible zoned floorplan that really appeals to first home buyers, young couples and young and growing families. The focal point of this unique home is the integrated living areas, complemented by a fabulous kitchen."
