Create an elegant bedroom look with Millennial Pink

Metricon

Update your bedroom style

Updating your bedroom interior can be a lot of fun, especially considering that it is one of the only rooms in the home that you can truly make your own. With the flexibility to switch up your duvet cover, re-arrange the furniture, or if you’re up to the challenge – add a new coat of paint to your walls - the options are endless.

With the cooler months now rolling in, you may be considering updating your bedroom style to create a cosier atmosphere. Recently, we teamed up with our friends at Bed Bath N’ Table to bring together three beautiful bedroom looks that are sure to bring warmth and comfort to your space this winter. Read ahead as we share the details of our second bedroom look, ‘Millennial Pink,’ styled in the master suite of our La Pyrenee show home in Balwyn, VIC.

Achieving a 'Millennial Pink' bedroom

Inspired by the grandeur and indulgence of Parisian flair, ‘Millennial Pink’ is characterised by a feminine colour palette fusing shades of clay, blush and rust.

Combining elements from three of Metricon’s Lookbook themes: Maison de Provence, Minerals and California Dreaming, the 'Millennial Pink' interior is a great way to inject warmer tones into the bedroom – contrasting the cooler, moodier tones that are often so popular during the winter months.

Create the look

The key to bringing the ‘Millennial Pink’ theme to life is to focus on textural layering, raw linen, and accessorising in rosy shades.

Layering is a key trend in the cooler months and has the ability to add character and depth to a space.

To achieve the look – introduce warmth with soft furnishings such as the Amira Velvet Quilt Cover, Margot Velvet Cushions and Blush Luxury Faux Fur Throw from Bed Bath N’ Table.

Homewares with gold, copper or marble detailing will work harmoniously with the blush tones, and add a touch of greenery to give life to the space. Complete the look with a new robe and slippers, such as the Como Egyptian Bathrobe and Plush Slipper Boots from Bed Bath N’ Table.

Watch ahead as Chris Carroll of TLC interiors speaks with Metricon Senior Interior Designer Jacinta Evans and Tara Dixon from No Cake for Breakfast about how to execute ‘Millennial Pink’ in your home.

The La Pyrenee

The ‘Millennial Pink’ bedroom was styled in our La Pyrenee show home on display in Balwyn, Victoria. Exuding a sense of classic luxury and opulence, the La Pyrenee from Metricon’s Signature collection features five bedrooms, a breathtaking master suite, three spacious living areas and a beautiful sweeping staircase.

This stunning bedroom interior is the second of three bedroom looks re-created at our La Pyrenee show home. Stay tuned for our next blog piece as we reveal our final look.
