We are excited to announce the launch of our Metricon Virtual Experience to the mass market with the introduction of FREE take-home VR headsets. This latest offering will allow prospective home owners to immerse themselves in over 80 of our stunning designs, right from the comfort of their very own home.

To get your FREE take-home VR headset, simply visit any Metricon display centre across Australia. You can learn more about Metricon’s Virtual Reality offer here, which will provide you with all the information you will need to get started – including instructions on how to use the headset.

Metricon was the first volume home builder to bring the Virtual reality experience to customers, with the launch of The Metricon Virtual Reality Experience in Wonthaggi Victoria in 2015. This exciting new way of exploring our home designs has proven to be a practical solution for those living in regional areas, providing an immersive way to view our designs without having to physically step inside a display home.

You can read about the 2015 launch of the Metricon Virtual experience here, which leveraged our next gen 3D virtual tours, taking them to the next level with a VR application, and transforming the customer experience.

We have also received extensive media coverage on The Metricon Virtual Experience since its launch in 2015. Metricon’s National Marketing Services Manager Kelly Millar, was interviewed for a news feature on Sky News, while our General Manager for Victorian Housing Peter Langfelder was interviewed by the team on Channel 7’s Sunrise. These exciting features were followed by an article on realestate.com.au and an appearance on Channel 7’s Beyond 2020, which follows the very latest and greatest in new technology.

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce this progressive tech offering to prospective customers providing the opportunity for all to experience Metricon homes in Virtual Reality nationwide.
“Metricon has always been committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements impacting our industry, so we’re proud to be making this genuinely useful tech available to potential customers,” said Millar, Metricon’s National Marketing Services Manager.
