In 2016, our Lindrum 52 display home, located in Dee Why, NSW, joined the ranks of several Metricon homes that have been featured on Seven's
Best Houses Australia.
The double-storey home, which features five bedrooms, was selected for its stunning interiors that were inspired by the surrounding iconic beaches. In the segment, Metricon's senior interior designer Jacinta Evans discusses the concept behind the styling of the Lindrum 52 with host Gary Takle.
As Jacinta says, the decor inside this home is based on a Metricon interior style called California Dreaming, one that is inspired by the world's greatest seaside locations, including the nearby Manly and Bondi and of course, further afield, in California. The interiors take a casual approach, while providing the perfect contrast between light and dark colours.
With luxurious features throughout, the Lindrum 52 appeals to large families, including those with multiple generations living under one roof. The huge bedrooms are ideal for young adults who may still be living at home.
