More award winning home designs from Metricon

In 2015, Metricon was ecstatic to have the Housing Industry Association award us with the Australian Display Home of the Year Award at the 2015 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards for the Chicago which is on display in South Australia.

These awards showcase the talent of the nation's top builders, designers and building companies with winners selected from state-based finalists with awards in 21 separate categories. The Australian Display Home Award recognises an individual house that is currently on display to the public.

The judges said of the winning home, "The Chicago is influenced by modern living. It delivers a striking sense of style, comfort and high quality craftsmanship. The timeless, classically-styled façade ensures a commanding street presence."

Then last weekend, one of our regional display homes – the Duxton 39 in Albury – was awarded with the title of Best Display Home over $400,000 at the 2015 North East Master Builders Regional Building Awards.

The Master Builders Association's judging panel were impressed with the spacious two storey, five bedroom plus a study design, and the fact that the Duxton 39 is a genuinely large family home that works on a site as narrow as 14 meters, and is available at a very attainable price.
