The contract stage

It's time to make everything official - once you've signed on the dotted line, your dream home will be built before you know it.

Keeping it simple

We’ve worked hard to make the contract stage as painless as possible. We’ll invite you in to read over important documents, share the final cost of your home, go through council requirements and discuss details of our Quality Assurance Program and Lifetime Structural Guarantee#. Our consultants have done this countless times before, so they’ll be able to answer any questions that you might have.

Reports, surveys and tests

While you are selecting your fixtures and fittings, we’re working hard completing soil tests, site inspections, certifies reports, contour surveys and more. With this information, we can submit detailed plans and seek approval from the local council on your behalf.

Handling councils for you

We have long-standing relationships with councils across Australia, so we know how to handle them. When you come in, we’ll chat through any council requirements regarding boundaries, design elements and permissions. Please note that councils can take anywhere between 2-6 weeks to provide feedback.

Six Stage Quality Assurance

While you’re meeting with us, we’ll run you through our Six Stage Quality Assurance Program. At each stage of the build, an independent Metricon inspector will visit your site and ensure everything is at the highest building standard. This rigorous process guarantees a home that is built to last.

Lifetime Structural Guarantee

When you build with Metricon, you can remain confident for as long as you live in one of our beautiful homes thanks to our Lifetime Structural Guarantee#. We provide this guarantee on each and every one of our homes so that you can love where you live with peace of mind.

I didn’t have to deal with multiple people from different departments or worry about doing anything myself. Everything was laid out and explained to me and I just gave the yeses and nos. Alex, South Australia
