Provincial Trader New to Metricon’s LookBook
Dreaming of easy living, inspired by a rustic handcrafted ambience? Metricon’s Lookbook has just launched a brand new theme, Provincial Trader, which will help you make this dream a reality.
Mixing industrial timber pieces with classic contemporary styling, the resulting look is a warm, welcoming, raw-inspired home. This style is all about using clean lines and impeccable craftsmanship to create a contemporary look, combining classic and industrial styling. Using a neutral colour pallet, with a mix of ecru and inky blue tones to add warmth, Provincial Trader is the perfect mix of old and new.
On LookBook, Metricon’s team of expert Interior Designers share their passion and insights with exclusive information and insider tips and hints, to guide visitors through the latest interior themes and teach them how easy it is to recreate the most on-trend looks
Providing the ultimate in relaxed, stylish living, Metricon’s LookBook guides users through how the Provincial Trader look can be achieved by adding raw linens, native flora and fauna displays, and large oversized artwork. Solid crafted timber furniture also works to achieve the industrial feel, while the calm colour pallet and fabric choices soften the sometimes harsh feel of the raw industrial styling elements.
Adding a sisal floor rug adds warmth and texture to the timber furniture and plays off beautifully against the raw linen fabrics used throughout this look. Introducing vintage feature lighting helps to cement this approach throughout the home and ensures that the look is the ultimate in contemporary provincial living.
LookBook sits in the inspiration section of Metricon’s website, alongside the extensive image gallery and MyHome feature where browsers can collect and organise their favourite images, plans or packages from the site.
Metricon’s Digital Marketing Manager, Kelly Millar explains the premise behind LookBook: “We know people love our display homes and are always looking to Metricon for inspiration and help to recreate the design. That’s why we created LookBook to present an online inspiration destination that covers it all from being inspired by the latest styling trends from around the world.
“On LookBook you will discover thirteen interactive mood boards of fresh interior design ideas and a wealth of information. Everything on Lookbook has been designed to take the hard work out of styling a home. Excitingly, with a display network of more than 150 contemporary homes across Australia, if you fall in love with a theme on LookBook your admiration doesn’t have to be confined to online, LookBook will direct you to a display home near you that has been styled with that look, so you can immerse all your senses in the theme and experience it first –hand,” said Kelly.
