Our Dual Occ designs

Metricon offers dual occupancy solutions that simplify and reduce the risk associated with dual occupancy development. Every block has its possibilities and limitations; however, our Dual Occ Solutions homes were designed in consultation with independent planners to ensure that they have the best chance of complying with local council planning regulations.

The Dual Occ Process

1. Getting started: Feasibility and quote

Our DualOcc Solutions specialists complete a detailed appraisal of your desired development checking for feasibility, recommending options and preparing a detailed quote for your chosen design.

2. Preliminary works and contracts presentation

When all plans, site costs and design alterations are itemised and confirmed, we'll present your preliminary contract.

3. Town planning application and outcome

Metricon will prepare your town planning drawings along with our independent planning specialists who will help guide you through each step of the planning process. 

4. Contract and build permit

Once your council's permit conditions have been met, simply sign your contract and Metricon will apply for a building permit for your project. If you need to demolish your old property, we are happy to recommend professionals who work with us regularly.

5. Site start

As building starts, we'll keep in touch with weekly progress reports and arrange inspections for you to view the progress. We’re always on hand to answer any questions you have.

End-to-end design solutions

Metricon offers end-to-end design solutions specifically tailored to multi-dwelling developments. All of our dual occupancy designs tick important boxes to ensure you get the property you want.
