Meet the team
Cameron Hall
Site Manager
Cameron is a Site Manager based in Ballarat. He is a qualified carpenter with a Diploma in Building Design & Drafting. He has 18+ years in the building industry as a carpenter, detailer and trade and market development manager. He enjoys how his role is such a hands-on and active one at Metricon. Cameron enjoys motorcycles and mountain biking.
Claire Charleston
House and Land Co-ordinator
Claire is married with two young children. She graduated from University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Management & Marketing). She previously worked in the travel industry. She enjoys creating Home & Land packages at Metricon and helping customers find the perfect package to suit their individual needs and budget. Outside of work she enjoys camping and 4-wheel driving with her family.
David Roberts
Regional West QA Manager
David is a Site Manager servicing the Geelong area. David is experienced in supervising and pre-purchase building inspections and looks forward to being an integral member of the team and contributing to the ongoing success at Metricon. When David isn’t at work, he enjoys surfing and motorbike riding.
Erin Pohlman
New Homes Consultant
Erin joined Metricon earlier in 2010. Previously, Erin worked as an estimating secretary for a commercial construction company. She has also worked in real estate and in a marketing company overseas. Erin likes helping customers in such an exciting decision making process. Her hobbies include cooking, having friends round for dinner and watching sports.
Jason Cantrell
New Homes Consultant
Jason commenced with Metricon in 2009 and lives locally with his wife. Jason is a keen property investor and currently lives in his own Metricon home. Jason holds over 10 years experience in sales with the IT industry. He particularly enjoys working with customers to achieve their dream home. In his spare time Jason enjoys playing golf and soccer.
Jay Burns
Customer Support Coordinator
A Geelong resident, Jay has been at Metricon for one year. She has worked in the building industry for three+ years. She enjoys new challenges and working in a friendly team environment. Hockey and scrapbooking are her hobbies.
Julian Green
Construction Manager
Julian joined the growing team in 2006, supervising the construction of Metricon’s range of homes. Julian has a wealth of experience gained from 15 years experience as a site manager in the industry. Julian resides in Barwon Heads with his wife and three children.
Kimberly Garra
Customer Support Co-ordinator
Kimberley comes to Metricon with a wealth of customer service experience and excellent administration skills. Kimberley is passionate about her work and loves living in her own Metricon home.
Lisa Palmer
Customer Support Co-ordinator
Lisa joined the Metricon team in 2008. Previously she worked in Credit management for National Tiles and in a similar role with Telstra. Lisa thoroughly enjoys being part of a friendly, helpful team. Lisa and her partner live in their own Metricon home. In her spare time she enjoys painting.
Matthew Reynolds
Service and Warranty Manager
Matthew joined the Metricon family in 2007. Previously he spent 12 years as a Cabinet maker and a further 5 years working for a local builder. Matthew thoroughly enjoys the challenge of his role and loves meeting new people. In his limited spare time, Matthew enjoys landscaping, shooting and mountain bike riding.
Meagan Baker
Studio M Team Leader
Meagan began her colourful career with Metricon in 2008. After studying Furniture Design at RMIT Meagan worked as a Visual Merchandiser for Harvey Norman for more than 3 years. Meagan enjoys helping clients create a Metricon house into their very own home. Meagan has been a local all of her life and feels she understands the clientele.
Michael Dalziel
Customer Support Manager
Michael began with Metricon in 2003, fulfilling several roles within the business including Customer Service Co-ordinator, Statement of Cost Signatory and Construction Home Co-ordinator.In 2006, Michael moved to Geelong to take up the role of Senior Area Administrator. Previously, Michael worked as a Draftsman before moving into Hospitality Management providing a valuable balance of customer service and building experience.
Ricky Bilston
Construction Manager
Ricky started with Metricon in January 2006 as a Site Manager. Ricky, a carpenter by trade, is quickly gaining a reputation in the local new home construction industry as a leader in his field. Ricky greatly enjoys his role and the opportunity to build quality Metricon homes for an ever growing number of Metricon new home buyers. Outside of work, Ricky enjoys spending time with his dogs and going to the football.
Peter Norris
Site Manager
Peter is a Site Manager that initially worked for Metricon in metropolitan Melbourne and relocated to Geelong in 2007 to service customers in the region. Peter is a qualified carpenter that brings 10 years of site management experience.
Sam Pohlman
Sales Associate
Sam lives locally in Geelong West. He is still a student studying Mechanical Engineering at Deakin University and works with Metricon on a part-time. He enjoys helping customers to make the right choices for the biggest investment in their lives. He enjoys surfing and restoring classic cars in his spare time.
Shayne Jenkins
New Homes Consultant
Shayne joined Metricon in 2009 having previously worked in the fashion industry and for a prestige motor vehicle company. Shayne loves working for a dynamic company like Metricon. He is keen on horse riding, sailing and being outdoors.
Simon Lofts
Sales Manager for Regional West
Simon joined Metricon in 2003 as a New Home Consultant in Geelong and recently moved into a new position to manage a very exciting arm of the company. Simon has won several awards for professionalism in sales and documentation excellence and is committed to providing the same level of service in Ballarat & Warrnambool to ensure customers have an exciting experience as they build their dream home. Simon looks forward to growing the business in the area and taking it to a higher level with the support of a dedicated and professional team.
Georgia Pohlman
New Home Consultant
Georgia joined Metricon in 2003 with previous experience in commercial construction and property and business law. Georgia has received a number of customer service awards and has a real understanding of customer’s requirements, having built her own Metricon home. She is passionate about Metricon’s home designs, real estate and interior design and enjoys assisting customers.
Brian Spokes
New Home Consultant
Brian joined the Geelong team in 2006 with a wealth of sales and management experience. Prior to working at Metricon, Brian was involved in financial planning, insurance and real estate. He is a local with a thorough understanding of what families want in a dream home and a strong commitment to customer service.
Tracey Pye
Mortgage Consultant
Tracey joined Metricon in 2007, with over 14 years experience in Banking and Finance Broking all in Regional Victoria. Tracey will be available to assist all homebuyers to find the right loan for their circumstances, and takes particular pleasure in helping out the First Home buyers achieve their dream of home ownership.
Wes Van Den Bosch
Site Manager
Wes commenced with Metricon in 2008. Wes brings with him a wealth of knowledge having spent many years as a qualified carpenter. In his spare time, Wes enjoys fishing and relaxing.
