Last week we were thrilled to have been awarded with three prestigious Master Builders’ Association of Victoria Awards. These latest award wins for homes across Melbourne follow on from some of the great awards that we have picked up for our display homes in regional Victoria these past few months.
This time, three of our stunning display homes took home the top prize for Best Display Home in their respective categories. Now is the perfect time for you to visit these beautiful homes and see why the judges felt they were the very best around.
Agar 28BP (Kingston façade)

The Agar 28BP (Kingston façade) was awarded the title of MBAV Best Display Home $200,000 - $250,000. The stunning single-storey Freedom by Metricon home features four bedrooms and also boasts plenty of living space in its generous design.
The judges said of this home, “[it] offers features often only seen in larger homes, such as a separate study, a family room plus a spacious rumpus, outdoor room and walk in pantry. Special attention has been given to the large master bedroom located to the front of the home, designed with a larger walk in robe and ensuite. With minor bedrooms located away from the entertainment areas and the rumpus room located nearby, it is clear that the designers have considered the practicalities of providing children with their own space.”
You can visit this display home at Mayfield Estate, Cranbourne VIC 3977.
Vantage 38 (Cube façade)

The Vantage 38 (Cube façade) took home the prize of MBAV Best Display Home $350,000 - $500,000 at the prestigious awards night. This fantastic double-storey home is a Designer by Metricon home and features four bedrooms as well as plenty of extras including a separate living room, study, leisure room plus a large outdoor room.
The judges said, “The dramatic cube façade of this home, anchored by a honed and elegant portico, is a striking addition to any streetscape. A focal point of the home, the semi-cantilevered timber tread stairway rises from the central hallway to a capacious upstairs lounge area and four bedrooms. The open-plan living area to the rear overlooks the garden, and with the use of a high-quality external corner stacker door creates a beautiful aspect to the rear of the home, allowing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.”

This double-storey Designer by Metricon home is an entertainer’s paradise and features a grand designer kitchen as well a large master bedroom with walk-in-robe, ensuite bathroom plus private balcony.
Describing the winning home, the judges said, “The Balmaine 51 Oak Park showcases stylish design and opulent living. The multiplicity of rooms boasts a discreet and highly polished living and dining room for formal dining at the front on the ground floor. A gorgeous return staircase provides a point of interest in the centre of the home, and a vast additional living room and an enormous integrated living hub provides easy access to the magnificent outdoor room.”
