Harbourside New to Metricon’s LookBook
Are you looking to recreate the serene and relaxing feeling that you enjoy out on a jetty in your home but are unsure how to achieve this kind of look without crossing the line from chic to tacky? The latest Metricon LookBook theme, Harbourside, will show you how to recreate the rustic, coastal look in style with hints and tips from the Metricon interior design team.
The latest theme explained on LookBook, Metricon’s online showcase of nine fresh interior design ideas, shows that creating a nautical theme does not mean that you need to litter the space with model sailboats and porthole mirrors. Metricon show you that there is other more subtle and sophisticated ways to create the serene and tranquil atmosphere.
The Harbourside theme celebrates the qualities of a casual, airy, beach house. The colour scheme reflects soothing neutral sands, sun bleached shades of blue, coral reds and pearlescent hues. It also showcases how to use weathered timbers and rusted or galvanised metals combined with driftwood-inspired accessories and linen upholstery, to ensure a casual beach-chic style. To ensure the look flows to the exterior of the home too, they suggest sticking with light and bright in combination for any coastal-inspired facade with the addition of natural stone block work to add depth and a touch of elegance.
LookBook sits in the inspiration section of Metricon’s website, alongside the extensive image gallery and MyHome feature where browsers can collect and organise their favourite images, plans or packages from the site. On LookBook, Metricon’s team of expert Interior Designers share their passion and insights with exclusive information and insider tips and hints, to guide visitors through the latest interior themes and teach them how easy it is to recreate the most on-trend looks.
